Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 August 2026 · Applies to the blackjacksolitaire.com and solitaire21.com websites and the Blackjack Solitaire mobile app.

Blackjack Solitaire and Solitaire 21 are the same single-player card game, run by the same team. It works without an account, and we collect as little as we can get away with. This page lists everything the websites and the mobile app store or send, in plain language.

The short version

Data stored on your device only

Saved games, score history, preferences (theme, sound, language), and active challenges are kept in your browser's or the app's local storage. They never leave your device as personal data, and Settings → Clear All Data erases them.

Anonymous gameplay statistics

While you play, the game sends batches of gameplay events (cards drawn and placed, hands completed, scores, game duration) to our server so we can tune the scoring and find bugs. These are keyed by a random session identifier that is discarded when you close the game — it is not derived from your device, name, or any account, and we cannot use it to identify you. If you play offline, the same anonymous batches are stored on your device and sent when you are next online.

Website analytics (website only)

The website uses Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode to understand overall usage. The mobile app does not include Google Analytics or any other analytics SDK.

Data you choose to send us

Hosting

The website, app services, and data above run on Cloudflare (Workers, KV, D1). Cloudflare processes network logs (such as IP addresses) as any host does, to serve and protect the site.

Retention and deletion

Operational backups of the data listed above are kept for up to 84 days. To erase everything on your device, use Settings → Clear All Data. To have any server-held data connected to you removed (playtest email, feedback, challenge records), use Settings → Privacy → Request data deletion or email us — we honour deletion requests against live data and backups.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from any player by default.

Changes

If we ever add features that change what is collected (for example, optional accounts or purchases), this page will be updated before those features ship, with the date above.
